We very rarely think about the amazingly complex and highly accurate visual perception device that nature has endowed us with. Even more rarely do we think about the fact that our eyes can and should be taken care of. But with the help of eyesight we receive 90% of information about the outside world, its partial or complete loss more than significantly worsens the quality of life.The visual apparatus is a fantastic success of evolution, but the process of evolution is slow, and modern life is changing very quickly. As a result, one of the worst enemies of our eyes has become technological progress. Modern man spends a huge amount of time in front of a computer screen, and in breaks switches to a smartphone screen. This has a detrimental effect on eye health – when looking at the screen, we blink twice less often, which means that the eye receives less moisturizing.
